Who we are and what we do
Bernard Gantes, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Bernard Gantes is the co-founder of Cyber-Implants. He is a well-known periodontist, opinion leader and an entrepreneur in Oral Implantology. Cyber-Implants’ surgical guide system is the result of his 30 years surgical experience. He has successfully implemented Cyber-Implants’ guide system into his own practice, saving hours of surgery time achieving optimal patient outcomes.
Dr. Gantes started his dental training in Paris, France, and completed his specialty training in periodontics at Loma Linda University in 1985. Over the years he has served as an associate professor and graduate program director of Loma Linda University department of Advanced Education in Periodontics and Implant Surgery.
He is a member of several dental and periodontal organizations, including American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, and the Academy of Osteointegration. He has co-authored several publications and textbooks. Dr. Gantes has lectured on periodontology and implantology at International conferences since 1987. He currently resides and practices in Southern California.
Ahmad Momeni a design and manufacturing engineer and an advisor to some of the worlds top medical manufacturing companies. Co-founder of Curlin Medical, a medical infusion pump manufacturer, currently owned by Moog Medical Devices. At Momeni Engineering, he offers his clients a wealth of perspective and a penchant for technology transfer. His experience and insight cuts across virtually every segment of the manufacturing industry.
Afshin Poursafar, as a managing director, is our business expert. With 24 years’ experience in developing state-of-the-art IT solutions, re-engineering business processes, and building dynamic collaborative teams he is responsible for coordinating operations, sales, marketing, and investor relations. He joins us from Moog, Inc., a leading aerospace manufacturing firm, where he managed a team of engineers and IT staff supporting a global user base in 26 countries. Prior to Moog, he helped transform Curlin Medical from a struggling, single-product medical device manufacturer to a diversified, $70M powerhouse with 250 employees worldwide and a range of highly-differentiated flagship products. As part of Curlin’s core leadership team, he helped grow the company to nearly 50% market share. Afshin received his B.S. in Computer Science from California State University of Fullerton in 1991. He resides in Mission Viejo, CA with his wife and two beautiful daughters.
